PMC Insurance is a family owned and operated independent insurance brokerage founded by Al & Louise Carriere when they purchased “Gus Painchaud Insurance Agency” from Gilles Marius in 1997. In May of 2001 the Carriere’s moved the brokerage from 111 Marion Street in St. Boniface/Norwood to it’s present location at 129 Goulet Street, Winnipeg, MB next to the Royal Bank, in the Goulet Street Shopping Centre.

Joined by their children, Joel Carriere (in 2001) and Janelle Carriere (in 2005), the business became a true family enterprise, providing a full complement of insurance products to all of Manitoba.

In 2005, the family purchased another longstanding insurance brokerage, ( Agence D’Assurances Aurele Desaulniers Inc.) at 390 Boulevard Provencher, Winnipeg, MB and renamed it, Assurances PMC Desaulniers Insurance.

Now with two locations, PMC Insurance and Assurances PMC Desaulniers Insurance, are well poised to continue to offer personal and professional insurance services to existing and future customers for years to come.
